About

The Saint Rita homeschool group supports homeschooling families in Saint Rita parish and the surrounding area. The group meets at Saint Rita on Wednesday afternoons during the school year, and organizes a variety of field trips and events. To learn more about upcoming homeschool group activities or to become a member of the group, please contact the homeschool group coordinator, Elise Matich.

Wednesday Activities (September-May)

Children's Holy Hour: Father Bork leads families in praying the Rosary, the Divine Mercy Chaplet, and the Divine Office, in Saint Rita Church from 2:30 to 3:30. Families with small children are encouraged to participate for whatever length of time is optimal. Respectful exits and re-entries are completely acceptable!

Playground Time: Homeschooling families are invited to enjoy free playtime on the Saint Rita School playground form 3:30 to 5:00. 

Saint Rita School Atrium: The Catechesis of the Good Shepard program is available to homeschoolers, ages 3 to 9, in two secessions, 1:00 to 2:30 and 3:00 to 4:30. Contact Megan Rolla for information on fees and registration.
